Renewal of Vendors’ Licenses 2023 – 2024

The National Conservation Commission Act stipulates that any person who desires to operate a business of selling goods or services in a public park/garden or on a beach shall first obtain a license from the National Conservation Commission. These licenses are valid for a period of one (1) year and are to be renewed annually, providing that the vendor has not contravened any of the conditions of issue of their license.

All Vendors licensed to sell goods and/or services in a public park, in public gardens, on the beach etc. are reminded that licenses must be renewed for the period July 2023 – June 2024 by June 30, 2023, to avoid any disruption to the operation of their businesses.

Registered vendors are asked to note that licenses that remain in arrears more than three (3) years will be rendered null and void.

Vendors are asked to tender their payments to the Accounts Department of the National Conservation Commission, Codrington House, St. Michael between the hours of 8:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Mondays to Fridays.

In addition to payment, a recent police certificate of character must be produced at the time of renewal. Furthermore, licensed water sport operators are reminded that it is a requirement that valid copies of the registration and insurance certificates for their vessels must be produced in order to renew their license.
