What we have done
- Every colour pairing on this site is tested against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast thresholds automatically, and the build fails if one drops below
- The site is usable with a keyboard alone, and every page has a skip link
- Nothing on this site requires JavaScript in order to be read
- Application forms work as a single page when JavaScript is unavailable
- Text can be resized to 200 per cent without loss of content
Known gaps
- Beach camera images have no text alternative for the view itself, because the content changes minute to minute
- Some documents published before 2026 are scanned PDFs and are not machine readable
